How to develop a growth mindset ?

Change your fixed mindset into growth and positive one, can have a tremendous impact on your life, your physical and mental health, and your relationships. A positive attitude toward life attracts success and prosperity. But how can we let go of our fixed mindset and our negativity? Let's first understand the meaning behind a fixed mindset. In a fixed mindset, people believe that their qualities are fixed traits and are not possible to change them. They also fear to appear dumb, therefore they always stay in their comfort zone and they avoid to try new things because they fear to fail.
Here are a few ideas on how to develop a growth mindset and a positive attitude.
1. Identify your thinking patterns
Be mindful when you talk to yourself and how you react in certain situations. If you find yourself magnifying some negative aspects of a situation, try to be aware of it, and stop or change it into something positive.
2. Embrace your fears
A fixed mindset occurs usually from fear. The fear to fail, to upset our parents, a fear to be judged. It is what keeps us away from unleashing our full potential. Acknowledge that fear, understand it's existence, be present with it. It is just an emotion, and emotions come and go, do not let it dominate your life.
3. Start the positive self-talk
Do not let the negative self talk sabotage your life. What you say to your mind will determine who you become. How you think and how you feel create your state of being. I am not saying to always be happy (it is not possible) and annoyingly cheerful 24/7, all I m saying is instead of responding with pessimism try to respond with an optimistic point of view, learn how to talk to yourself. When something bad happens always ask yourself what can I learn from this? Don't say anything to yourself that you wouldn't say to anyone!
4. View challenges as opportunities
Reframe your challenges as opportunities for growth and for learning. Many people don't see the opportunity in the situation, they often focus on how it will be like to fail. Therefore, starting a new challenge can be frightening. And the fear of failure can be overwhelming. Do not let your path in life be dictated by other people. Most mountains paths are not directly uphill, but take us down through valleys to get to the next peak.
5. Change your beliefs
People will always say, oh she is successful because she comes from a successful out bringing family, her husband helped her, she is beautiful that's why she can get whatever she wants. People choose to stay in mediocrity because they think that's their full potential, and they won't bother undertaking difficulties in order to have that great life. Try and work hard for it, and if you fail try again but don't quit and get back to mediocrity!
